Hope everyone had a great Easter long weekend! 🐣 We’re already getting organised for the end of the month and doing things a little differently for the ANZAC long weekend.

We’ll be open a bit longer on Friday to help you get sorted, as we’ll be closed on ANZAC Day (Saturday 25th).

We’ll also be open Monday, 7am–2pm, to make up for the weekend closures. We’ll keep the reminders coming as we get closer!

This month’s Retro Rewind 🙌 We hope everyone had a great Easter! Time to put the chocolate aside (or at least slow down a little 🙃) and get back into some good old-fashioned protein and iron 💪🏼🍗

Taking it back to the good old days! Chuck steak became a household staple in the 60s & 70s, when slow-cooked dinners, casseroles and hearty family meals were the norm.

It was the cut that fed families, filled kitchens with incredible aromas and turned simple ingredients into something special (not much has changed!) Still one of the best for slow cooking, and still a go-to for a proper, comforting meal.

We had a few mixed comments about the glove, and not every butcher uses them! But a steel glove is a choice to be a part of the job. It keeps things safe while we break down whole bodies into the cuts you know and love.

Last week, Kentlyn Public School were gearing up for their local OzTag Gala Day on Friday… unfortunately the weather had other plans ☔️

We had prepped 200 snags ready to go, alongside Ataris Art Studio who kindly went halves with us on the cost 🙌🏼

Even though the day didn’t go ahead, we’re always proud to support our local schools and community where we can.

Fingers crossed for better weather next time so Kentlyn’s P&C can raise some much needed funds for their incredible and small school!
